SIAO, an audit, accounting and management consulting firm based in Lagos and a member of the RSM Global network of professional services firms, recently organised a breakfast discourse at the Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event sought to raise awareness on recent tax regulations and introduction of Executive Order 008 (the Voluntary Offshore Assets Regularisation Scheme). Key speaker at the event was Mr. Babatunde Fowler, Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).
