The King’s School, Lagos, a private nursery and primary school situated in the Gbagada area of Lagos recently organised a Creative Writing workshop for teachers. The pogramme, which is an initiative of the CSR arm of the school – The King’s Children’s Foundation – was facilitated by Mrs. Amaka Eze. The foundation has as one of its objectives, to provide a strong foundation in the areas of reading and writing for children. This it aims to achieve by providing books and libraries for public schools, providing volunteer teachers, organising supplementary training courses for public school teachers and national competitions to test reading and writing skills of public school children.
